" I was given an appointment to see the female solicitor at TDAS. I was able to take a friend with me. The solicitor is very good, she is helping me get a divorce, I have seen her 3 times and I will be really happy when I have got it. "

Legal Advice

TDAS (Trafford Domestic Abuse Services) offers a free Legal Advice service which runs once, a week in our office in Old Trafford.

If you are suffering from domestic abuse you have a right to be protected under the law. There are several things you can do to protect yourself and stop the perpetrator causing you further harm.

Domestic abuse can be dealt with both under the criminal law and the civil law. The civil law is primarily aimed at protection of the victim. The criminal law is primarily aimed at punishing the offender/perpetrator

Trafford Domestic Abuse Services work in partnership with experienced solicitors who specialise in Family Law and issues in relation to domestic abuse. If you want free legal advice you can book an appointment through our office to attend our Legal Advice Service and meet with a female solicitor. This service is provided each Monday morning.
