OVERVIEW OF SERVICE DELIVERY DURING COVID 19
During Covid-19 TDAS are prioritising the safety and support of anybody who is experiencing domestic abuse.
We are constantly reviewing service delivery to provide a service that is as flexible possible for those in need during this extremely critical period.
Our current service offer is as follows:
We are operating a call back telephone service for anybody who is in need of support. A voice message or text message containing the person’s name, number and a safe time to call must be left to ensure that the person receives the call back.

We aim to provide a call back within 24 working hours to assess needs and support.

TDAS are available to provide support between 9am and 5pm.
7pm and 9pm can be available at the client’s request.
We are offering support via phone, text, email, social media, and video chat.

Callback service -
A Domestic Abuse Advisor will conduct a needs assessment with the client and assess risk. If risk is deemed as high they will be referred to MARAC and one of the TDAS IDVA’S will support to deescalate the risk.
For those scoring below the MARAC threshold but still in need of safety and support, an Outreach Worker will be allocated to them and the necessary support put in place.
We continue to provide refuge provision and have applied social distancing within our shared accommodation units. Please contact the refuge on 07845 443 840 for further information.
Children and Young Peoples (CYP) Service
If you have a child or family in need of support, TDAS continue to provide this service which is as follows:
CYP Workers currently working via zoom/video media to hold support sessions with older CYP
CYP Workers have devised activity packs for children – liaising with parents where possible
CYP Workers attending schools where vulnerable children still attend to offer support
We regularly updatethe TDAS website with new information and changes to service delivery. We prove daily updates via social media.
